With this site, I attempt to make wine more approachable in your everyday life because as corny as it sounds, everyday is an occasion worth the celebration of wine.  But every celebration is different and calls for a unique bottle of wine; here you'll have the chance to discover new wines and new wine regions and how they can make each day a memorable one.

In the “Meet Cecelia” section you’ll get a chance to read about how I learned to love wine and what I look for when tasting and recommending wine to others.

"Wine Wonderings" attempts to dispel some of those urban legends about wine; for example, that in Europe they add extra sulfites to wines exported to the U.S.  Yes, that’s an urban legend – it does not happen.

Have you ever uncovered something so fabulous that you just had to tell everyone you knew?  That’s what the "Fabulous Finds" section is all about.  Here I recommend some of the many wines that I have the opportunity to taste as wine shop owner and wine traveler.

Almost last but really one of the most important aspects of wine and those celebrations we enjoy, the "Now You’re Cooking" page where you’ll find secrets to food and wine pairings and an actual list of wines and foods that I have paired together.  I’ll also tell you if my pairings worked or if they didn’t.  This way you can learn from my mistakes.

The "Corkles" section is my pseudo-blog page.  Here I submit to your reading pleasure adventures in wine, food, beer and other pertinent stories that will enlighten your senses.  I also upload pictures of my adventures in wine, visits to wineries and attempts to move beyond wheat ale - as if that were possible.
